Spatial Dynamic Analysis of Changes in Land Use Applying Markov Chain and Cellular Automata

Changes in land use the Alo Pohu watershed have concerned government preventing siltation of Limboto Lake, along with floods and slides. On that ground, present study was conducted to analyze spatial prediction land-use changes watershed, Gorontalo Regency, Indonesia, 2000-2017 period for 2030 prediction. The method analysis data predict involved Powersim Version 10 Idrisi apps. Further, consisted two maps, i.e., Indonesian topographical map map. Markov chain model applied site area year has an excellent suitability/agreement. Based on validation test Kappa Index Agreement, value K-standard gets 0.8 from 0-1 scale. Another using Google Earth is also employed, which it shows 83% suitability level. Confirmed by integration dynamic system simulation model, resulting modeling therefore scientifically acceptable. concluded conversion Province occurred.
